Venue / Caterer: The Landing @ Dockside
On the 24th February I had the pleasure of being invited to a private tasting of The Landing’s catering menu.
The Wedding & Events Venue has a beautiful setting on the Brisbane River at Dockside and hosts a number of Wedding / Function rooms along with a pleasant grassed area for Wedding Ceremonies.
They have also just opened up their outside catering option so even if you wish to have your Wedding / Event elsewhere you are still able to enjoy their delightful food.
Here’s how the evening of canapes and stand up plated dishes went;
- Duck Egg Roll -

- Fried Prawn Gyoza w Wasabi Mayo served in spoons -
- Tempura Prawns - Fig & Goats Chees Tarlets w Prosciutto -
- Crab Cakes w Avocado Butter & Flying Fish Roe -
- Lemon Parlsey Risotto w Seared Scallops, Crisp Prosciutto & Green Pea Cappuccino (my favourite) -
- Garlic & Rosemary Marinated Lamb Back Strap w Mushrooms Creme Caramel, Red Wine Jus & Deep Fried Enoki Crisps -
- Strawberry Meringues -
